About the print

A true photographic print on Fuji Crystal DP II paper, produced by WhiteWall, the lab used by photographers and galleries. Each file is colour-checked by me before it goes on sale. Sold unframed, as an open edition. This image was created with AI image generation and finished by hand. Print quality

A swimmer climbs out of an empty pool into a wall of turquoise. Two thirds of this picture is one unbroken plane of chalk turquoise tile. The swimmer is already halfway out, seen from behind in a white cap, and the hard diagonal shadow of the ladder is as much the subject as she is. Nothing is happening. The heat is what's left. It reads as colour from across a room and as a figure up close, which is what makes it hold a wall above a sideboard or in a bathroom. Hangs well beside Overhead (No. 06). Created with AI image generation, colour-graded and prepared for print by hand. Open edition.
